Our basement waterproofing services are designed to keep your basement dry and free from moisture, preventing issues such as mold growth, foundation damage, and structural deterioration.

Water management is crucial for relieving the hydrostatic pressure around your foundation. Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure that water applies to a surface when it’s at rest. When the ground around the foundation is saturated, pressure builds up against the foundation. This can cause cracks, bowing, and other damage to the foundation over time.

An interior perimeter drain system, installed next to the foundation wall footing, draining to a sump pump is one effective water management solution.

Two immediate benefits of an interior drainage system are that there will be no excavation and that the system is easy to service since it is readily accessible.

Water management is simply collecting water and diverting it away from the building. The objective is to direct water into drainage before it causes damage.

We include options such as battery backup for sump pumps, reinforced premium series liner on foundation walls, and new concrete slabs over water management systems to accommodate any space.

Sump pumps should always be covered to prevent moisture vapor from rising. At Eastern Basements, we exclusively use Blue Angel Sump Pumps, which have been tested for over one million cycles.

Professional, knowledgable, hard-working, friendly and efficient are just a handful of words to describe Eastern Basements and their amazing team! I purchased a 200 year old inn in 2014 that needed almost everything and went about replacing roofs, septic systems, plumbing, electric and so much more to still have a musty, damp space leaving me frustrated and the building at risk of additional problems in the future. I have an old house (1900s) with a cobbled-stone foundation that had a wet musty basement with areas of open soil. Eastern Basements fixed it all for me. They installed 2 sump pumps, an industrial dehumidifier and covered the floor. That was over 2 years ago and I have had no water or humidity in the basement since. They were extremely professional.
